COVID-19

Mandated changes implemented due to COVID-19

Oakland Vision Center is open for your essential eye care needs by appointment only. The health of our patients, staff, and community is our top priority. We are adhering to CDC social distancing guidelines and thorough cleaning protocols. Please call us to discuss if your matter is urgent and essential. Occasionally, telemedicine services may be suitable. Copayments and deductibles apply as if you are making an in-person visit.

Please do not schedule an appointment…

  • If you returned from outside the U.S. or visited an area defined by the CDC as an area of high risk IN THE LAST 14 DAYS, OR
  • If you had direct contact with an individual with confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) IN THE LAST 14 DAYS, OR,
  • If you had direct contact with a person who is currently being quarantined for coronavirus (COVID-19) exposure IN THE LAST 14 DAYS, OR,
  • If you felt feverish and had a cough in the last 24 hours.

Please come to our office by yourself or if necessary, with a maximum of one person. If we cannot observe social distancing, we ask that you wait outside and we will call you when we are ready to see you for your appointment.

Thank you for your loyalty and understanding during this difficult time. We encourage everyone to stay home unless absolutely necessary to ensure the safety of our community. We are keeping up with our calls and emails, so please contact us at 201-651-1212 or oaklandvisioncenter3@gmail.com for any of your hearing and vision needs.
